EM-55 UPDATE PROCEDURE

First of all, copy the files EM55_1xx.sy1 and EM55_1xx.sy2 on two floppy disks (named below disk1 and disk2 respectively).

EM55_101.sy2

Please follow the update procedure below.

  1. Turn the instrument on while keeping the buttons A/B and BANK/NUMBER 2 pressed

  2. The words: LoadSys and then InsDsk#1 will be displayed on the screen

  3. Insert System Disk 1

  4. After loading Disk 1, the word InsDsk#2 will be displayed

  5. Insert Disk2

  6. After loading disk 2, the flash writing step begins

  7. After completing the update procedure, the word COMPLETE will be displayed

  8. Turn the instrument off and then turn it on while keeping the button USER PROGRAM/WRITE pressed, until the display shows FACTORY!.

Now your EM-55 is updated.
