The E-50/E60 Operating System Version 1.11 contains (like System Version 1.08) the following new features and functional improvements:

 1. V-Link button assignability.
 The  V-LINK switch can now be used to either take advantage of the E-50/E-60's V-LINK functions or control one of the assignable functions (Fade In, Fade Out, Scale Upper, Scale Lower, Half Bar on Fill In, Arr hold, Dynamic Arr, Arr Chord Off, Arranger RIT Tempo, Arranger ACC Tempo, Reset/Start Tempo, Keyboard Exch UP2/1, Mbass/KBD Arr, Piano/Standard, Break Mute)

2.Three new amazing Drum Kits that you can use to compose styles with Asian taste.

3. The software also improves the TAP TEMPO function and the possibility to play the FILL DOWN 3 by pressing the VARIATION 4.

 Moreover the Operating System Version 1.11 has fixed some bugs existing in the previous versions.

The complete Update operation takes about 8 minutes. Though your user data are preserved during the update, we recommend that you make a backup to avoid damaging your data in case something goes wrong. Before starting the update procedure, make sure that the “Internal Protection” switch (on the E-50/E-60 rear panel) is set to “OFF” position (unlocked position).

 This updating procedure requires a PCMCIA Adapter and a Memory card with 6 Mbyte free at least.
